Blancco Brand design

The Brief:


For this project with Blancco Technology Group, I evolved their existing brand system into something more cohesive, scalable, and globally consistent. A careful refinement rather than a reinvention.

Starting from scratch can, in many ways, be the easier brief. Evolution is often harder. The challenge here was to modernise and unify Blancco’s visual identity without losing what made it distinctly Blancco: the character, the authority, the familiarity that their global audience already recognised and trusted. Every decision had to feel fresh, but never foreign.

Working with the established logo mark, the brief called for structure across a growing collection of brand assets, bringing clarity and consistency to the way the brand showed up across global markets. That meant strengthening the typography hierarchy, building a more flexible and considered colour system, and standardising the use of illustration, photography and iconography.

The guidelines were designed as a practical tool for the external agencies, contractors, and partners who help bring the Blancco brand to life. Clear enough to follow without hand-holding, detailed enough to leave no room for inconsistency. The final result covers everything from tone of voice to digital layouts, ensuring the brand is applied with confidence and purpose by anyone who works with it, wherever they are in the world.
