The Brief:
Project brief calling for the creation of a distinctive logo design for Streetwise Law, a London-based not-for-profit organisation.
Inspired by iconic UK street signs and urban stencil graffiti, this logo employs a bold sans-serif typeface with varied weights for visual impact. The design creatively emphasizes the stylised ‘st’ and ‘is’ within ‘Streetwise’ to enhance memorability. Accompanying taglines: ‘educate,’ ‘inform,’ and ’empower’, clearly articulate the core values and mission of the brand.
Additionally, a complementary square version of the logo was designed for scenarios where a horizontal format isn’t practical, such as digital applications. This alternative design cleverly incorporates the initials ‘S,’ ‘W,’ and ‘L’ into a stamp-like mark, subtly referencing London’s SW1 postal code.
